Area of body affected: Middle finger right hand (now also pain in right knee and wrist)

Patients Name

Liz SimmondsAge44
City

West MidlandsBody areas affectedMiddle finger right hand (now also pain in right knee and wrist)

Medical History:  Had the disease as a child and don't remember been given any medication.

Personal History:  Developed the disease as a child, I remember intense pain until surgery to remove a large slice off the side of my finger. Finger now deformed and occasional pain. I have not suffered any re-occurrence but am starting to worry now about pain and swelling in my right knee and wrist which have arisen over the past few years and are becoming difficult to ignore.

Comments:  I am keen to help the Melorheostosis Association UK in anyway I can. I would also like some tests carried out on my children as they are showing similar signs of the disease.
